Sir Garron Thalric stands among the most revered heroes of the Portal Wars, his name etched into the annals of history alongside the greatest champions of that desperate age. Though many commanded vast armies, Garron distinguished himself not through numbers, but through the courage and precision of a small, steadfast band who followed him into the darkest corners of the conflict. Time and again, they struck where the fighting was fiercest, turning the tide of battles that might otherwise have been lost.
It was during one such perilous encounter that Sir Garron achieved his most legendary feat. Facing a Demon Lord of immense power—a being whose very presence warped the battlefield—he led the charge that brought the creature low. From its shattered form, Sir Garron claimed a gemstone of unnatural origin, a relic said to pulse faintly with an otherworldly energy. At the time, it was regarded as a trophy of victory, a symbol of defiance against the Abyss.
However, recent discoveries have cast that artifact in a far more troubling light. Through careful study of ancient records and forbidden texts, we have uncovered evidence suggesting that the gemstone is not merely a relic, but a key—one intrinsically linked to the portal itself. Its properties may resonate with the same forces that once tore open the veil between worlds.
This possibility cannot be ignored.
We have recently discovered a possible location of the Sir Garron's grave and the gemstone which he embedded in the hilt of his lance was probably buried alongside him.
That is where you come in.
