We travel to the secret location and find a Netherese tower upside down. On the third floor a door opens and [[Dzaan Odesseiron]] is standing there. [[Session 16]] ended with the party leaving [[Caer-Dineval]] heading into the wilderness to find [[Secret Location of Dzaan]] on the way meeting some [[Reghad]] who need help with trolls. ##### Hunting Trolls [[Hengar Aesnvaard]] of the [[Reghad]] and his four companions want our help with two trolls. [[Hengar Aesnvaard]] is from the Elk tribe, mentions that he thinks [[Freida]] is from the bear tribe and they had trouble and his mother was killed. History checks - we need fire or acid to stop their regeneration. The plan is we split the trolls and take one each. [[Freida]] and [[Phenrere]] crit round 1 and nearly kill it. Doesn't take long after that. The heart of the troll has powerful magical properties. We are given an immovable rod. [[Phenrere]] gives her ring of warmth to [[Pleic Holdir]]. [[Pleic Holdir]] gives us some of his history. He used to work at the farm with animals as a scarecrow. [[Hengar Aesnvaard]] tells us a few rumours. Watch the sky at midnight. He tells us of a powerful shaman, he lives north of where the shaengarne river joins [[Maer Dualdon]]. There is a rumour that the tribe of the tiger has a new queen who is a follower of [[Auril]]. The dragon has a lair somewhere on the glacier on the sea of moving ice. ##### During the Watch [[Freida]] [[Rintario]] [[Caelum]] There is an impressive aurora borealis [[Freida]] sees a giant bird, possibly a bird of prey, it is hard to tell how big it is. We wake [[Phenrere]] to have a look. She feels the aurora borealis does not look natural, almost covering the ten-towns like a blanket. ![[Pasted image 20260827202405.png]] Around 1am there is a face in the fire but it is not recognisable. It is a woman's voice calls [[Rintario]] are you there? She says good job on the bleak dwarfs and the cult in [[Caer-Dineval]]. She says the dwarf fortress is dangerous to the ten towns. She mentions the bond between them and that [[Rintario]] will do what she wants. She offers a reward if he gives a strand of [[Phenrere]] hair. The voice is [[Rintario]]'s patron from another plane and he agreed to the bond. The dwarfs are led by a competitor, a different one from the [[Caer-Dineval]] who was [[Levistus]]. [[Rintario]] makes a deal, he throws a lock of his hair into the fire to regrow his hand, it grows back but during the process he turns into a tiefling and he can not see his tattoo that matches [[Phenrere]]. ##### Dzann's Location 20ft high smooth and shiny rock, does not look natural. There is a tunnel which enters the earth next to the rock. Is all upside down. It is very very old. Room 2 We manage to open a chest on the ceiling without breaking anything, we find 4 potions (need identified). Room 5 Two more books Ajamar's Guide to the Phantastic The Unfettered Mind Room 6 Silenced room Room 7 Collapsed staircase and a skeleton with a missing finger (maybe a stolen ring) Floor 3 Room 8 [[Dzaan Odesseiron]] comes out of a side room, he only seems to recognise [[Rintario]].
