[[Session 15]] ended with the diversion caused by [[Mere]] starting chaos. ##### At [[Caer-Dineval]] Battle starts, [[Pleic Holdir]] blocks the door. Enemy does big damage round and others come through a secret passage. We hear [[Thoob]] mentions that [[Kadroth]] wants us on his side and that the [[Prince of the Black Knights]] will not be pleased. [[Caelum]] tries to negotiate a surrender. [[Pleic Holdir]] refuses to surrender his sword and leaves. The rest of the group is taken into one of the castle rooms. [[Pleic Holdir]] climbs through a water outlet to enter the castle. [[Rintario]] asks to speak with [[Avarice Tarim]]. We negotiate a peace with [[Avarice Tarim]] who appears to have higher authority than [[Kadroth]]. Meanwhile [[Pleic Holdir]] comes across a room of 5 prisoners including [[Crannoc Siever]]'s assistant and scribe [[Lanthis Alderdusk]]. Lanthis Alderdusk is Speaker Crannoc’s 64-year-old assistant, notary, and scribe. He’s feisty and spry for his age. Elprekt Norbrav is the effete, tall, skeletally thin, 55-year-old butler. Mylbara Norbrav is Elprekt’s stout, 45-year-old wife and the speaker’s Dwarvish translator. Tam Sharf, a mute, 30-year-old petty thief wanted for a murder in Luskan, is the speaker’s housemaid. Dassir Ravenscar is the speaker’s shy, 25-year-old dogkeeper. They tell us if you wear the necklace for 9 days even if you take it off you are still under the influence, would need Remove Curse. They think they are linked to devils. [[Pleic Holdir]] helps them escape and heads back in. [[Pleic Holdir]] manages to wedge open a block and make his way deeper into the castle. He recognises a statue of [[Levistus]] an archdevil who is trapped in a glacier is this [[Prince of the Black Knights]]. He finds some papers which he takes. [[Freida]] asks [[Tomi the Scout]] to show her where she can relieve herself and gets a mini tour. [[Rintario]] asks for some advice on his familiar with [[Avarice Tarim]]. She says eventually it will turn him into one of them. She suggests greater restoration spell to remove it or maybe alchemy. She says dont trust [[Velynne Harpell]]. She wants to be allies. [[Pleic Holdir]] continues through the waterfilled passages ways. He is now suffering from exhaustion. He discovers bodies of dead cultists and militia. He dresses in the robes of the dead cultists. [[Freida]] manages to remove the necklace from [[Tomi the Scout]] but he notices and she gives it back. She is only holding the necklace for a short time but she realises it is made of [[Chardilin crystals]] and immediately started to give her dangerous thoughts. [[Tomi the Scout]] was not immediately cured when it was removed. [[Pleic Holdir]] comes up a trap door into one of the towers are tries to deceive one of the guards. It doesnt go well and [[Pleic Holdir]] grapples the guard and throws him down the trap door. He comes through the secret passage and is reunited with the group. He tells the group of his adventure. [[Rintario]] tells the group about his [[Slaad Tadpole]] and that it will kill him one day. [[Freida]] says she knows someone who might be able to help, an old spell caster, [[Aorthelia]], her grandmother. She might also have the magic to help [[Olivia]] once we find her soul. Long rest.
