[[Imdra Arlaggath]] rewards the group with a fireball scroll. ##### What to do next The group isn't sure the best way forward. Track down the [[Frost Druids]] and [[White Dragon]] for the [[Lost Gem]]. Clearing out the [[Duergar]] in [[Caer-Dineval]]. To find our path. ##### Travelling to [[Caer-Dineval]] A group of armed men (5) have prisoners, [[Freida]] recognises them as the [[Zhentarim]]. They say they are from [[Targos]] and have been to [[Dougan's Hole]]. They have prisoners who couldn't feed themselves so they have sold themselves into slavery to be fed. [[Pleic Holdir]] starts a fight with them. We kill their leader (paladin) and others scatter. The slaves say they didnt realise they would be chained, they say they heard the same has happened in [[Good Mead]] as well. Found 30gp and plate armour (but it is damaged and could be half plate). The paladin knew about the dwarves, they were not allies but thought they could make a deal with them. Freida recognises Gal from her tribe. Gal says "they were interested in recruiting [[Freida]] and that she had been given a task". [[Freida]] wants a meeting with their leader and Gal says come to [[Targos]]. The slaves are employed in a warehouse / hideout they have in [[Targos]]. They all work for [[Naerth Maxildanarr]]. [[Freida]] describes them as a thieves guild. ##### In [[Caer-Dineval]] The inn [[Dinev's Rest]] has been closed for a while. We believe their are [[Duergar]] hidden here. ##### In [[The Uphill Climb]]. The innkeeper [[Rourke]] mentions [[Tomi the Scout]] and that he was asking questions about the castle. He suggests we stay in the castle and seems eager. The speaker [[Crannoc Siever]] has been ill and is staying in the castle, he hasnt been seen for sometime. ##### [[The Caer]] The gate is sealed but they open to let us in. Our host is [[Huarwar Mulphon]] a human and a tiefling female [[Rose]]. [[Huarwar Mulphon]] is the son of [[Korva Mulphon]], [[Korva's Lost Son]]. There is a boy looking after the huskys [[Alassar Sulmander]]. He thinks he saw [[Tomi the Scout]] coming in. [[Huarwar Mulphon]] says he is happy being part of the [[Black Swords]]. He says they have a leader in the castle but an even more a powerful leader who is not in the castle. We are sent to see their leader. We meet a halfling maid [[Mere]], she is not happy with her masters (insight), is worried about the speaker [[Crannoc Siever]]. [[Rintario]] asks [[Mere]] to start a diversion. Assistant is [[Thoob]] Leader is [[Kadroth]] Their amulets look like [[Chardilin crystals]] [[Kadroth]] says his master wants the [[Duergar]] removed as does [[Avarice Tarim]] who is a guest at the castle. [[Tomi the Scout]] is wearing an amulet. As an explosion happens in the kitchen [[Kadroth]], [[Thoob]] and [[Tomi the Scout]] head out, we try and stop [[Tomi the Scout]] but it starts combat.
