Before confronting the killer they decide to side quest to [[Monsters in Gem Mine]]. **in [[Bremen]]** The [[IWD Party]] awake in [[Buried Treasures]] in [[Bremen]] and head down for breakfast. [[Dzaan Odesseiron]] is there and asks [[Rintario]] and the others to join him. He thinks he is the next victim of [[Ice Knife Killer]] and provides more information on the rumour including some suspects, the group agree to help him for a reward. The group spend some time in [[Bremen]] and narrow down suspects to [[Fiona the Bard]] and someone from [[Torgg]] caravan. [[Rintario]] buys a shield. They decide to travel on to [[Targos]] to pick up the trail and continue their investigations. **in [[Targos]]** It only takes 1.5 hours to get to [[Targos]] The group heads straight to [[Antori Wallow]] to give him the bad news about his son [[Karim Wallow]]. He tells the group about [[Children of Auril]], a group of fanatics. They hold the lotteries for [[Sacrifices]]. [[Karim Wallow]]'s name was drawn in the last lottery, [[Ivan]] a member of [[Children of Auril]] came to tell [[Antori Wallow]] and said he could fix it so someone else died if he paid, he did and a poor halfling died in his place. However, [[Karim Wallow]] did not feel safe and left town around 6 days ago. The timeline ties in with someone from [[Torgg]] caravan, possibly a more hard core member of [[Children of Auril]]. He mentions a strange new human guard that [[Torgg]] has hired that doesn't feel the cold named [[Sephek Kalto]], he has piercing blue eyes matching the description from [[Dzaan Odesseiron]]. The caravan has left towards [[Termalaine]] and [[LonelyWood]], the group decide to pursue. [[Caelum]] offers the [[polar bear carving]] to [[Antori Wallow]], he is thankful and pays the group 6gp. The group follow the caravan and push on to [[Termalaine]]. **in [[Termalaine]]** Town caller mentions [[Monsters in Gem Mine]] go to [[The Blue Clam]] tavern for information and talk to Speaker [[Oarus Masthew]] who offers 50gp and a magic item, he seems desperate. We mention [[Ice Knife Killer]] and [[Oarus Masthew]] wants proof. [[Torgg]] caravan will stay in [[Termalaine]] for 4 days then travel to [[LonelyWood]] for 5 days [[Freida]] sneaks up to scout [[Torgg]] caravan. [[Freida]] has suspicions about [[Sephek Kalto]] since alcohol and cold didn't effect so thinks he could be undead and notices he was also not breathing. His clothing isn't from [[Ten Towns]] maybe clothing similar to sailors and [[Phenrere]]. We meet up in [[The Eastside]] Inn to sleep, [[Oarus Masthew]] pays, owner [[Korva]] tells of her son [[Korva's Lost Son]] [[Phenrere]] [[Rintario]] have the same shared dream [[Underground Community Dream]] **We wake 13-Ches-1498** Next morning we all scout the caravan and [[Freida]] buys a stick. 5 guards in total, [[Sephek Kalto]] seems very dangerous [[Phenrere]] is very nervous and the group agree to go to the mine first before tackling him.
