[[Pleic Holdir]] and [[Freida]] missing this week, they stay to guard the prisoner in [[Caer-Konig]]. ##### In [[The Northern Lights]] Message from [[Dzaan Odesseiron]], he has been delayed and will be another 8 days. We have breakfast with [[Perilou Fishfinger]] she seems concerned, she tells of a mission with her friends they planned to deliver supplies (10 days rations) to an arcanist at the north end of [[Woods North of Lonelywood]] in [[Black Cabin]]. He is called [[Macreadus]], he might have knowledge towards stopping [[Eternal Winter]]. He is a priest of [[Lathander]], the same as [[Copper Knobberknocker]]. ##### Travelling There We decide to travel the safe route to [[LonelyWood]] by road. Staying in [[Bryn Shander]] We hear more about [[Short of Iron]], they are expecting it in next few days coming from the [[Dwarven Valley]]. We head into [[LonelyWood]] and camp at [[Ancient Elven Ruins]]. [[Rintario]] is visited in his dreams by his [[Patron]] to stop the dwarves. [[Dwarven Knowledge]] The next morning we push on to the [[Black Cabin]] As we exit [[Woods North of Lonelywood]] there are several gorges, we approach the [[Black Cabin]], there are no tracks and no smoke from the building, windows are broken, it looks abandoned. ##### Exploring [[Black Cabin]] The cabin is built partially over a gorge it is on posts raising it 20 feet above the ground with a partial wrap around walkway. [[Dragon]] peaks through the windows it looks abandoned but there are some figures on the ground and books maybe. As we approach the front door the walkway collapses [[Phenrere]] falls into a gorge and is going to die, she sees a giant head saying why did I fail, why......, [[Dragon]] reaches her in time and pours a healing potion into her. With some effort we get her back up the gorge. Find: Tinkers Tools and Smiths Tools found in the workshop. Lots of bent metal. Find: Golden amulet, holy symbol of [[Lathander]] - undamaged by fire. Find: [[Summer Star]] item with two rings, and coal in the centre. Burnt book with ETHER are the only words left on the book spine, not the start or end. Tiny clay man (dead homunculus) and blueprints. While exploring the floor collapses under [[Caelum]] and [[Phenrere]]. [[Phenrere]] falls through the floor and dies impaled on a tree in the gorge. Her soul is back in the cabin. She sees the large head again, he is the dead person in the ashes [[Macreadus]]. [[Phenrere]] gets mad at the him because he built his cabin over a gorge. They are in the border ethereal [[Ethereal]]. We manage to get the body up out the gorge. We do some discovery while [[Phenrere]] shouts at [[Macreadus]] and leaves some strange messages in ash. The [[Summer Star]] was designed to control the weather but there is something not quite right with it. Tough fight made easier with darkness by [[Rintario]] and spike growth by [[Phenrere]]. We slay the creatures and get a strong feeling of anger from around....
